C.W. Copeland brings more than 14 years financial services experience as a consultant to the Georgia Center for Nonprofits. Among his areas of concentration, C.W. specializes in Risk Management & Retirement planning.
Prior to founding C.W. Copeland & Associates, C.W. served as a Professor with Clark-Atlanta University (1998-2009) where he taught Finance and Insurance classes in the School of Business. Consumer Credit Counseling Service (Atlanta, GA) where he was Director of Community Outreach & Education; and as a Financial Planner for Prudential Preferred Financial Services, New York Life Insurance, and American Express Financial Advisors.
C.W. received a Ph.D. degree in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia (2011), and holds a Masters of Science from Georgia Tech, and a Bachelors of Science from Tuskegee University. He holds Series 7 & 65 Securities licenses as well as Life, Accident, Health, Property and Casualty insurance licenses and is a member of a number of industry associations. |

Attorney Althea DeBarr-Johnson |
Attorney Althea DeBarr-Johnson received her Juris Doctor Degree in 1981 from Howard University of Law. The early years of her legal career focused on business, criminal and constitutional law in Pennsylvania and as adjunct professor of law for Saint Leo College at Fort McPherson, Georgia. Since 2001, Attorney Johnson has served as Ad Hoc Judge for the DeKalb County Recorder's Court presiding over traffic and county ordinance violation cases. Services are currently provided to Fulton County as Guardian Ad Litem for the Fulton County Probate Court and as a Court Appointed Attorney for Adult guardianship matters.
In private practice since 1997, Attorney Althea DeBarr-Johnson concentrates her expertise on wealth protection and probate law; including wills, trusts, integrated estate administration and guardianship. Attorney Johnson's talents, knowledge of the law and years of experience in intergenerational wealth building, retirement planning and wealth protection are applied to each unique situation to secure the maximum benefit for her clients. |

Attorney Smith obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College, a Juris Doctor Degree from Howard University School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Attorney Smith's practical knowledge of tax law, corporate law, finance and public policy stems from positions held with the National Headquarters of the Internal Revenue Service, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, LLP.
